Two public access paths lead to world famous Cabbage Beach. View the Beaches section of this website for more information and photos.

Cloisters and the Garden of Versailles

13th Century Cloisters Augustinian monks in France originally built the Cloisters in the 13th century. The remains were imported, stone by stone, to the United States by the newspaper baron William Randolph Hearst in the 1920s. However, it wasn't put back together until 1962, when millionaire Ocean Club developer Huntington Hartford purchased the structure and reconstructed it.

They now stand high on a hill descending to Nassau Harbour. An extension of the gardens at the One&Only Ocean Club, it is a popular spot for weddings. The Cloisters are particularly striking at night when illuminated.

Dining

From gourmet to café to catamaran… create special memories with the myriad of dining choices available on Paradise Island. View the Dining section of this website for a complete list of every restaurant on Paradise Island open to non hotel guests, including phone number and website if there is one.
